We don't drive our car very often so it takes a while for us to need an oil change. We went there yesterday 5/27/ 2026 for an oil change air filter replacement , windshield wipers and tire rotation. The man at the desk had only been there six or seven months one of the men that worked before his retired, and he said the The other guy that used to work there had a disagreement with the owner and is no longer there. When we got to the end to pay they have a new card reader if you pay with a credit card or debit card and we were paying with a debit card you got charged a 3% fee which came to about eight dollars and we weren't told that when we made our appointment. . When I got home, I was telling my wife and she called them and she said this is new. He said yes it is and she said well. What if you don't pay with a card can you write a check and not get the 3% fee he said no we don't take checks. We only take cash well our bill was almost $270 for the oil change wiper blades Tire rotation and an air filter. I said well if you don't take checks, he said which we don't because they bounce. What do you take and he says we only take cash who goes into a place like that bringing hun

I used to like A1 “Honest” Auto because they were conveniently close to my house, and for basic oil changes they seemed fine. But the moment my car needed actual maintenance, it became a completely different experience. They quoted me over $800 for spark plug replacement, including a jaw-dropping $73 PER spark plug plus $150 labor. They also tried to tack on windshield wiper fluid and an air filter at absurd markups. Spark plugs are actually on average $10 each. This estimate felt less like car maintenance and more like an attempt to see how much they could squeeze out of me. Honestly, I was ready to give them 1 star for their unmitigated greed. But I have to give them 2 stars because their ridiculous quote motivated me to learn how to do the repair myself. I ordered the spark plugs, plus a box full of specialized tools, for a grand total of $127. On my very first attempt, I changed the plugs myself in about 20 minutes without any issues. So thank you, A1 “Honest” Auto, for accidentally teaching me self-reliance. I still have other maintenance work I need done, but there is absolutely no chance I’ll be bringing my business back here. Word to the wise: steer clear of this shop.

Brought both my cars there this week! One towed for new battery and the other oil change and tire rotation. Amazing service all around! Appointments were on time and customer service was highest quality!

Thanks for the prompt service - You guys are great! One suggestion: after you replace a battery, please reset it so that all of the parts are working: radio, compass, maps, etc. Thanks. (I had to make a second trip there because I didn't know how to reset it. :-((

Extremely quick, effective, and efficient service. Had an issue with my brakes that needed attention quite fast, they had it appraised and fixed within the same day of my appointment. Pretty good pricing too. Absolutely recommended.
